A & A Insurance was founded in 2000 by father-and-son team Marty and Bradley Adams. With Marty’s experience in the insurance industry dating back to 1978 and Bradley just beginning his career after graduating high school, the timing felt right to build something together. Marty Adams: Agent, Owner
Marty Adams grew up in downtown Charleston and put down roots in West Ashley in the 1970s. He has been married to his wife, Cindy, for more than 50 years and remains deeply connected to the Charleston community.
A 1968 graduate of Baptist College, now Charleston Southern University, Marty began his insurance career in 1978 with Adams Insurance. After the agency was acquired by First Federal in 1990, he continued in the industry until 1999. In 2000, he and Bradley teamed up to open A & A Insurance, bringing decades of experience and a local, relationship-first approach to their clients.
When he’s not in the office, Marty enjoys golfing, cheering on the Gamecocks, and grilling on his porch.
Bradley Adams: Agent, Owner
Bradley Adams was born and raised in Charleston and has lived in West Ashley his entire life. His strong ties to the area give him a genuine understanding of the community and the people he serves. Bradley is married to his wife, Rachel, who has taught locally for more than 10 years. They have one daughter, a West Ashley High School graduate who is currently attending the University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, Bradley enjoys cheering on the Gamecocks, catching live music around town, and attending car shows. His local roots and approachable style help him build lasting relationships with clients across the Charleston area.
Allison Adams: Agent
Allison was born and raised in Charleston, SC, and currently lives in West Ashley with her husband, Travis. She is a mom of three, with one still at home and two grown, and family is at the center of everything she does.
Before joining A & A Insurance, Allison spent 15 years in grocery store management with Harris Teeter and Whole Foods, where she built strong customer service and leadership experience. In late 2025, ready for a new chapter, she decided to join the family business and bring her organizational skills and community-focused approach to the team.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her kids, cheering on the Gamecocks, and exploring all that her hometown has to offer.

Marty is a founding partner in A&A Insurance. He was raised in Charleston. He is a graduate of the Baptist College and has been in the insurance industry in Charleston for over 40 years. Marty and his wife live in West Ashley.
Bradley Adams: Agent, Owner
Bradley is a founding partner in A&A Insurance. Born and raised in Charleston. Bradley's wife is a 4th grade teacher and their daughter attends highschool at Charleston School of the Arts. He has been in the insurance industry for 20 years and is a resident of West Ashley.
